STA Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance Qualification
Now booking spaces for the STA Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance course for April.
This course will be delivered face-to-face in our online classroom with our tutor Lynn Goring-Crook, an experienced tutor who has also been awarded 'train the tutor' status by the STA and delivers also for Swim England, RLSS UK and UKCC. She is an active IQA for a number of training centres and awarding organisations not only performing the IQA role but also devising IQA activity in particular when problems have been established and support is needed with a tutor/assessor.
The role will involve observing training and assessing practice and giving constructive feedback with meticulous record keeping. The role requires the IQA to provide support, training and standardisation for tutors and assessors along with liaising with external quality assurers to ensure that a consistent standard is maintained and that assessments are conducted and assessment decisions are made in line with awarding organisation requirements.
This qualification is intended for learners who are currently undertaking a quality assurance role within their organisation or centre and need to ensure assessment conduct and decisions are valid and reliable or are wishing to take on the role.
This course is open to ANYONE interested in becoming an IQA within in their chosen discipline and for some awarding organisations is a pre-requisite to be an IQA. This includes STA, Swim England and RLSS UK.
What is the difference with our course structure?
For just £75* more than you will pay elsewhere for distance learning courses, we run the course in a face-to-face environment for learners who benefit from this learning style. You will have two days online in a group setting with your tutor to learn all the theory behind IQAing. Written by us this learning is specially designed to give you the best chance of succeeding. This has been proven to be a beneficial way to help you complete the assignments for Unit 1, so you can move onto the practical part of the qualification in Unit 2 where you go and perform IQA activity and so you can qualify as quickly as possible! You will receive tutor support throughout the process.
