Collection: Swimming Teaching CPDs - Stunning Starts Series

Our hugely popular CPDs for Swimming Teachers launched in 2023 with the series - 'Stunning Starts'. 12 CPDs aimed at laying the foundations for great swimming teachers.

These were a hit for both new and experienced teachers to motivate and inspire. Written and delivered by our Director of Education Lynn, these built on the success of CPDs online she had delivered for STA based around Aquatic Games and with Mark from Training Wave covering a number of subjects.

We were overwhelmed by those signing up to The Swim Surgery CPDs with the average attendance 150 participants!  Any CPDs which have already happened can still be purchased. You will receive the recording and resources to support your learning and a CPD certificate issued worth 1/2 CPD point.

Please note on purchase you will be contacted by a member of The Swim Surgery team to invite you to join the google classroom for the CPD. At which point you will be allocated your recording and resources. We aim to complete this withing 3 working days however this process allows us to give you support with the CPD. Purchasing will therefore not give you instant access but it will give you a lifetime of access. 

For 2024- the series is called 'Improved Instruction'. This series will build on the learning from 2023, but don't worry each CPD is standalone so no prior learning is needed. In this series we tackle subject requested by out Swim Surgery Crew such as up to date practices for teaching the strokes and school swimming. Each CPD is 1hr - 1.5hrs long, fun, informative and can be attended live and/or you pick up the recording and resources afterwards. These CPDs cater for those who are brand new to the profession or very experienced, and as also professional swimming teachers know CPDs are vital to keep knowledge up-to-date and qualifications valid.
