Upskill with our next STA Level 2 Safety Award for Teachers on Thursday 12th September with a TWILIGHT SESSION online for theory and then Sunday 15th September 2024 near Chichester for practical.

Club helpers, Aquatic helpers, Swimming Teachers, Coachers and School Teachers responsible for supervising swimming. This course is often a pre-requestie for jobs in the aquatics industry.

Theory online 12th September 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Practical at Oakwood School, Chichester PO18 9AN 15th September 9am - 12.30pm
-Friday 13th September- log onto our Cirrus system to take your theory exam from the comfort of your own home. Your exam is online using our CIRRUS system anytime. Log on for 30minutes at a time to suit you. Please contact us if this is inconvenient.
To access this course you will need the following:
- A computer, laptop, tablet or phone with functioning mic and camera to join Zoom for theory and access your e-manual along with Nearpod and our interactive games (no prior download needed).
- Access to the practical face to face bringing swim costume, shorts and t-shirt to wear in the pool.
- A computer or laptop to access your CIRRUS exam via Chrome. This CANNOT be done on a phone or tablet. If you can not access CIRRUS it may be possible to take a paper exam. Please contact us to discuss.

Pre-requesites:
- Be at least 14 years old
- Be able to swim 25 metres. Learners who cannot swim 25 metres must be capable of wading, and effecting a rescue, in a pool with a depth no greater than chest height
-Be able to surface dive and recover an object from the deepest part of the pool
