STA Level 2 Award in Aquatic Teaching - Baby and Pre-School will qualify you to teach aquatic activities, games, songs and paddle strokes to baby, toddlers and pre-schoolers in a parent and child setting.  

This OfQual regulated qualification with give you the confidence and official qualification to help babies with their first experiences in the water and on successful completion of the course you will be able to teach your very own class of up to 12 pairs independently. This course can lead straight to paid employment, with teaching hours on offer often day-time and weekends.

Come and join us in our virtual interactive classroom on 12th, 14th and 15th February to kick off your course as we walk you through the theory side of the course ready for the practical and theory to follow on 16th and 17th January at Comfort Aquatics, Freshwaters Primary School, Harlow.

Your tutor Lynn Goring-Crook will train and support you through this course, passing their vast experience in teaching. We will then see you through the experience finishing with your practical exam to gain this 'license ' to teach.

At The Swim Surgery we tutor to the highest standard in a fun yet informative way and our pastoral care is second to none, with learner support throughout the evenings of your course and post course as you start your career. 

STA Level 2 Award in Aquatic Teaching - Baby and Pre- School

12th, 14th and 15th February online zoom 9.15am - 2.45pm each day.

 

16th  February 8.30am - 3.30pm, practical at Comfort Aquatics, Freshwaters Primary

17th February 12noon - 4.30pm 

All practical is being held at the lovely Comfort Aquatics, Freshwaters Primary School, Freshwaters, Harlow CM20 3QA

Your Cirrus theory exam will be on 18th February   - log onto our Cirrus system online to take your theory exam from the comfort of your own home. Your exam is online using our CIRRUS system . Log on for 1 hour at a time to suit you.

Pre-requsities 

-Be at least 18 years of age by the date of the exam.

-Hold STA membership

-A valid safeguarding certificate. This course can be done via self-paced learning at www.sta.co.uk

To take part in this course you will need access to the following:

- Computer, laptop, tablet or phone for your online theory sessions.

-Computer, laptop, tablet or phone to view e-manual

-Computer, laptop, tablet or phone for viewing and editing documents (word or pdf).

-Computer, laptop, tablet or phone for accessing google classroom

-Computer or laptop to access your online exam via Chrome, the system is called CIRRUS. 

-Pen, paper, notepad as needed.
